13/4/13 On the road to Guillena 22.2km

You little ripper, we made it. 

Our first real day on the Via De La Plata.  

22.2 km down, only 977.8km to go

Let me get this over with fast. 

Ugliest walk I have ever done !!!

The beginning of the walk is through a trash heap, then industrial and finally motorway.

The pilgrims way was flooded so that meant we had highway walking the whole way.

But on a happier note, the scenery on the motorway was spectacular!!

Haha there was a long distance cycle race in progress so that scenery was definitely  worth viewing.

The cyclists were all so sweet, cheering us on ,shouts of hola  and Buen Camino rang all around us.

So sometimes it is not in the scenery but In the atmosphere we get the motivation to continue on.

Broke the seal and did my first bush pee, so really feel like this is for real. Sorry to those with a delicate stomach having to read all the nitty gritty, but I need to make this post a little more interesting or I might loose all my subscribers, teehee.

We made fairly good time and have arrived in Guillena, staying in a lovey new Albergue La Luz. It has wifi so hence the post.

We will attend the pilgrims mass tonight.
