Finally setting up my Blog

Well its only taken me 9 months to get around to this.
All the notes and photos I have taken over the last 9 months are sitting in my iPhone notes.
So much to say and I just don't know where to start.
So lets start at the beginning.
I walked the Camino de Santiago Frances Route back in 2008. The title of this blog refers to the name I was given back then. I was a total catastrophe! But in saying that, it was one of the most fantastic things I have ever done in my life to date and that now leads us to why I am writing this blog.
I will be walking the Via de la Plata or Silver route this April, May and June of 2013.
Nine months ago I started my training with a fantastic group called Wild Women on Top.
Each term runs for 10 weeks and every Wednesday from 7.30 -9.30pm you will find a bunch of us Trek Training in the urban jungle that is Sydney.
The Coal Tunnel

It has been great and I have seen and been to places in this City that I would never have stumbled over. Trekking at night in the bush has had its moments and I have also experienced some new injuries that thankfully have shown themselves early enough for me to treat prior to my big walk.
I was explaining to work colleagues the other day that I know how to scare myself good and proper walking at night in the bush. In the early days I was so focused on where I was going I kept feeling something whooshing around my head. Of course every time I turned my head to see what it was it disappeared, until I finally realised it was only my pony tail and not some deadly creature !
Remember its dark, you have a head torch on and there are lots of shadows out there.
Well enough from me tonight, I've had a huge day spending money on new equipment and trying to set this blog up.
Ciao for now.
